My Career

“A home is the single most important purchase in most people's lives, you need to listen and understand what they want and be careful not to substitute what you think they want.” … The first time I said that was when I entered the industry in 2002, and it still holds true today. It excites me to help my customers find that one house that can become their happy home. I began with MaxWell Realty and I know that the overall business model and ethics of the company match my own. I made a careful and considered choice to enter a career in Real Estate, and I have enjoyed 7 successful years. During that time I have earned both the MaxWell Master Sales Award and the Maxwell Director's Award.

In this new phase of my career I am grateful and inspired to be working with a select team of REALTORS®, whom I know are professional, knowledgeable, innovative and forward thinking. As a team, we believe that working hard at something you love to do, with people you trust, is one of the greatest experiences in life. My Life

I was raised in the Okotoks area and journeyed to the University of Texas at Austin for a degree program in Geology. Afterwards, I returned to Alberta and spent a couple of years in Lethbridge before moving to Calgary just before the 1988 Winter Olympics. With the oil industry in a decline, I decided on a career in sales and discovered where I belonged. I started in radio advertising and spent many years in telecommunications. Along the way I met and married my husband Randy and in 2005 we were blessed with the addition of our beautiful daughter Sascha.

I have run numerous marathons and half marathons in the last 14 years and I am also an avid dragon boater. I have been very involved in various charitable organizations over the years. Most notably the Canadian Progress Club and I am now active with JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) since our daughter was diagnosed in 2007. I serve on the Advisory Council and have been the Gala Chair (now co-Chair) since 2008.
