Calgary Buyers Benefit from Expanding Condo Choices in July

Home sales in Calgary fell 9.2% in July compared to last year, with 1,904 homes sold and the benchmark price dropping 2% to $569,200. Oversupply of condominiums and reduced international migration contributed to lower prices, especially for apartments (down 8.4% to $297,600) and row homes (down 6.1% to $418,500). Detached and semi-detached home prices also declined slightly. New listings decreased 15%, and total inventory was down 4.2%.
